Our Story
Hi, I’m a proud Tica, which is what we call ourselves in Costa Rica. I grew up in a country where coffee is part of everyday life, where it’s the smell in the morning and the reason we sit down and talk.
Then life took me somewhere new. I met someone on a beach, and about six months later I moved to the United States. I was excited for this new chapter, but I also wanted to bring a piece of Costa Rica with me.
He has always been passionate about coffee, and he was the one who pushed me to turn that feeling into something real. He believed in me from the start and has supported my efforts and my dreams every step of the way.
His passion for coffee met my love for Costa Rica, and that’s how Sol Bru was born.

We roast in Miami and ship right away, so your coffee arrives fresh and full of flavor. Our beans come from Costa Rica’s Brunca region, where high altitude and volcanic soil help grow sweet, balanced coffee with notes of milk chocolate and citrus.
